Care For Every Child
Get To Know Dr. Burke
Dr. Burke’s roots in dentistry run deeply throughout her family. Her grandfather was a dentist and her mother was a hygienist, so she became familiar with dentistry from a very young age. This is part of what inspired her to focus on pediatric dentistry as her specialization. From a young age, she saw first-hand how kids struggle with fear and anxiety that makes it harder to get essential dental care.
Dr. Burke attended the University of Michigan for her undergraduate degree. Then, she went to the University of Detroit Mercy for her dental degree. After graduating, she undertook a one-year AEGD residency at St. John Providence Hospital. Then, Dr. Burke returned to the University of Michigan for her pediatric residency, and also received an M.S. in pediatric dentistry.
In addition to serving patients at Hartland Pediatric Dentistry, Dr. Burke also continues to teach part-time at the University of Michigan as a part of their pediatric dentistry program. She is also a delegate for the Michigan Dental Association and the pediatric lead for Mission of Mercy, which provides no-cost dental care to those in need.
Outside of the office, Dr. Burke’s three kids Alli, Corbin, and Kennedy keep her busy with sports, events, and activities throughout the Hartland area. She also loves playing with her dog Gus, or snuggling up with him while planning her family’s next Disney vacation.

We also offer sedation dentistry, which is a great option for keeping your child more comfortable throughout their appointment.
